About the Park
Monkman Provincial Park features a diverse network of waterways, including the Murray and Monkman drainages. Scenic rapids, waterfalls, streams, and lakes create a striking and dramatic landscape. In the park’s northern section, Kinuseo Falls cascades 60 metres over a geological fault—higher than Niagara Falls—and is often the highlight for visitors.
Despite the rugged scenery, key areas are easily accessible. A wheelchair-accessible platform offers excellent views of the Falls, and nearby campsites include amenities such as horseshoe pits. The park offers a variety of activities, including camping, fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, and backcountry adventures.
