Gwillim Lake

About the Park

Gwillim Lake Provincial Park offers a tranquil outdoor escape in the scenic Rocky Mountain Foothills along Highway 29. Just a 30-minute drive from Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge, near the Northeast Coal region, the park invites visitors to canoe, kayak, swim, hike, and fish. A viewpoint within the park also rewards visitors with sweeping panoramic views of the stunning Rocky Mountain landscape.

Frontcountry camping – $20/party/night

Facilities

50 campsites (14 reservable, 36 first come, first serve), pit toilets, boat launch, viewpoint and playground.

Location

Located 56 km southeast of Chetwynd; take Highway 29 south off Highway 97 (paved access).
