About the Park
The glaciated landscape and turquoise water make Tā Ch’ilā (Boya Lake) a must-see destination. Tā Ch’ilā is excellent for canoeing and kayaking, with sandy beaches and abundant wildlife, and is a highlight of any trip to Canada’s north. Most of the campground is first come, first serve, but reservations or early arrivals are strongly advised in the peak season. Be aware there are limited other campsites in the surrounding area and prepare a plan to travel elsewhere if Tā Ch’ilā Park is full. There is no cell phone service or Wi-Fi available along Highway 37 from Kitwanga to the Yukon border.
