Porpoise Bay

About the Park

Porpoise Bay Park on the Sunshine Coast offers many opportunities for coastal fun and is a favourite family park. The park is separated from the Strait of Georgia by the isthmus at Sechelt. It is characterized by second-growth forest, open grassy areas, and sandy beaches. Porpoise Bay Park also makes an excellent basecamp for paddlers exploring the Sechelt Inlet.

Frontcountry camping – $29/party/night
Group camping base fee – $80/group site/night
Group picnicking – $50/group site/day
Walk/cycle-in frontcountry camping – $15/party/night

84 vehicle accessible campsites, a group campsite, day-use area, pit and flush toilets, hot showers, adventure playground.

Location

South end of Sechelt Inlet, 4 km north of Sechelt off Highway 101.
